Description

Duomo takes its name from the largest, most solid thing in Florence, and behaves accordingly. Rectangular, unisex, 56–20 calibre with a 42 mm lens height: a structured frame that gives a face character without shouting. 145 mm solid acetate temples and the feel of an object built to outlast a season.

It’s the right model if you want an everyday frame that isn’t ordinary: it carries a suit and it carries a hoodie. We build it to measure, in the acetate colour you prefer, with the option of adding one of the seven lines — from turned wood to carbon fibre, from 24K gold to dried flowers. Every piece is hand-finished and polished with Tuscan extra virgin olive oil in our Calenzano atelier.

• Selected acetate in seven shades: Nero Calamaio, Blu Mediceo, Rosso Chianti, Cipria Affresco, Marrone Tabacco, Verde Boboli, Trasparente Fiorentino.
• Seven customisation lines — Flower, Wood, Skin, Ethnic, Chakra, Tech, Luxury — inlaid by hand in front and temples.
• CR39 lenses with multilayer anti-reflective coating included; prescription lenses on request.
• Final hand polishing with Tuscan extra virgin olive oil.
• Delivery in about 30 days. A one-of-a-kind piece.
